Roland Maurmair was born in Innsbruck in 1975. He lives and works in Frankenmarkt and Vienna as an artist and scientist in the field of primitive and media technologies. He studied audiovisual media at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and and he holds a PhD in philosophy. He has had numerous exhibitions and presentations in Austria and abroad.
