Wendelien van Oldenborgh develops works in which the cinematic format is used as a methodology for production and as the basic language for various forms of presentation. She regularly collaborates with participants in different scenarios, to co-produce the script. Her recent solo exhibitions include YCAM, Yamaguchi; Museum of Contemporary art Tokyo; CA2M Madrid; and the Dutch Pavilion in the 57th Venice Biennale.
This special screening of Van Oldenborgh’s films A Prelude (2024) and Sound Track Stage (2006-08) will be followed by a discussion moderated by Nina Tabassomi, Director of Taxispalais Kunsthalle Tirol.
