Clemens von Wedemeyer creates films and media installations poised between reality and fiction, reflecting power structures in social relations, history and architecture. His interest in group dynamics, in human masses and their power in the image is one of the strands that has informed his art for twenty-five years. His previous solo exhibitions include MoMA PS1, New York; the Barbican Art Centre, London; Kunsthalle Hamburg; and Kunstmuseum Luzern.
Von Wedemeyer will screen his films Social Geometry (2024) and Surface Composition (2024), followed by a discussion moderated by Chris Clarke, Curator at INNSBRUCK INTERNATIONAL.
